Well, we have been home for a few weeks now, but it's great to be back! I, Andrea, got home from South Africa about 3 weeks ago, and Sven got back last week friday. We are so happy to say that Sven FINALLY got his visa after waiting 11 weeks for the process to be complete. Now that its done, we're set with a visa for a good few years.
Since being back I've rearranged our flat, done some gardening, have been connecting with friends, processing with God and have been pushing away at getting my school running. Good news - It will be running!! I was a bit uncertain of what would happen because of low student numbers, but we're still on track and with a creative solution of partnering with another school that also had low numbers. We should have 5 students all together, which is good but would be great if there were more. Our hope is to always be training up more and more people to be sent out to the nations bringing hope and change through Jesus Christ.
Sven and I look forward to leading our schools starting on Oct 7th. I will be leading the Art Evangelists School and Sven, his Front Line Discipleship Training School. We will have lots of great adventures going deeper with God and training others in their passions, gifts and even in trying new things. We have incredible staff who will be helping during the whole 6 month schools. Sven will have around 15 students and when they're not in the classroom he will be taking them bush walking, trekking (where possible in Aus) and probably rolling around in a lot of mud... in his 4x4! We look forward to getting to know this new group of students and seeking God on the plans that He has for their lives!
That's about it! Thanks to our friends and family in South Africa who showed us a good time, we're grateful and look forward to whenever the next time would be that we see each other, for now, lets keep in touch!
lots of love,
Andrea and Sven
